Literacy Improvement
We believe that with informed schools and district leaders, expert teaching, and well-implemented programs, all students can become proficient readers and writers.
CORE’s client services include the following:
- Elementary services, including an academy in research-based reading instruction, specific literacy topic workshops, institutes for coaches and administrators, and on-site technical assistance and implementation support
- Adolescent literacy services, including workshops for content teachers, institutes for middle and high school leadership teams and for literacy coaches, and on-site technical assistance and implementation support
- District implementation support, provided by a CORE District Implementation Advisor who supports client K-12 literacy planning; develops assessment plans, pacing calendars, and intervention plans; and facilitates administrator and coach walk-throughs to monitor and gauge the effectiveness of literacy implementation
