Our Success

The following examples of success are due to the combined efforts of CORE and a commitment from the whole school system of some of our long-term clients. Take a look at the following profiles to see how we have been instrumental at achieving and maintaining results.

Elementary

CORE K–3 Executive Coaching Project for San Bernardino City Unified School District, San Bernardino, CA

The charts below show sample of the elementary schools that received three years of technical assistance from CORE focused on improving reading scores.

CORE supported a total of 25 elementary schools in the district from 2006 to 2009. Since CORE’s work at the schools concluded, the schools have sustained the implementation and the students’ reading scores have continued to increase. 

The data shows that since the SBCUSD schools started working with CORE in 2006, the API reading scores of elementary students in participating classrooms increased by as much as 32%.

Adolescent

CORE Literacy Implementation Project and Evaluation Study, Lake Pend Oreille School District, Lake Pend Oreille, ID

CORE conducted a four-year literacy implementation and improvement project with Lake Pend Oreille’s schools.  CORE’s support was pivotal in addressing student achievement for this district. Middle schools , in particular, made significant gains. As a result of CORE’s work, 90% of students ingrades 7 and 8 were at or above proficient.
