Math Consultants, Elementary School/High School
CORE provides expert technical assistance and professional development for K–12 literacy and math programs. We are an approved Turnaround and Transformation Provider in many states in partnership with Global Partnership Schools. Our scientifically based model supports the implementation of the Common Core State Standards in English/Language Arts and Mathematics. We work with educators and administrators at all grade levels, district personnel, and state departments of education to build systemwide capacity for sustained improvement.
We are presently hiring part-time employees with at least 5 years of elementary school and/or high school mathematics teaching experience. As a part-time Math Consultant, you will provide professional development services in the area of math development. This involves providing professional development in a workshop setting, on-site consultation and program implementation, and demonstration lessons; supporting school or district administrators and coaches; and assisting with implementation plans. This position requires active participation in presenting CORE concepts and materials to client districts. As a part-time Math Consultant, you are required to travel two weeks each month.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree required. Master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education, or specialist credential preferred.
- At least 5 years of elementary school and/or high school math teaching experience is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge in scientifically based mathematics research, knowledge of current reform practices, and demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of programs and publisher materials (including mathematics assessments) is also preferred.
- Knowledge of effective skills and strategies for diverse learners and non-native English speakers, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in large, inner-city school districts serving diverse populations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and facilitate effective presentations, as well as responsiveness, flexibility, and ability to exercise good judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products and knowledge of Internet resources preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel, sometimes to very remote locations.

Educational Consultants
CORE is currently seeking part-time Educational Consultants. Educational Consultants provide professional development services nationwide in the areas of literacy and math. - BA/BS degree required; MA degree in reading or mathematics education with a specialist credential preferred

Freelance Graphic Designers
CORE is currently seeking Freelance Graphic Designers. Graphic Designers work closely with a CORE liaison on various projects, developing collateral in electronic and/or print format. Graphic Designers may also perform basic web functions to enhance graphics for existing website.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years experience as a Graphic Designer, working knowledge of web design a plus
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required
